A few weeks ago, my son had a Clash vs Ramones show and he rocked the stage.

The other parents couldn't stop raving.

After several awkward attempts, a dad turned to me and said, "he's got the IT factor!"

I thought sure, but what this guy didn't know, was this was my sons 9th show in 3 years.

He practiced especially hard for this one to get his moves just right.

The real IT factor, was my sons willingness to put himself out there, years before he had "it."

In the beginning, he was shy and stiff and like rest of kids. But he wanted to see himself in a different light, so he did.

A lot of times we see people in their element and assume, they must have always been this great.

And yes, while they may have had it on the inside, it takes time, practice and iteration, to develop into something we can see and appreciate.

This is true for everything we bring into creation, including digital products.

Creating a product that has that "IT" factor takes refinement.
